Here are some free stuff links that I have found very helpful

Free Car Give Away - http://www.hannity.com/ here you can enter to win a new GM car where they are going to give 1 away each week for the next 5 weeks.

AVG Free Edition Antivirus - http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5#avg-free I have been using this for several years on my home computer and it is one of the best Antivirus programs on the market and it's absolutely free for the non-business user.

Spyware, Adware, Adware and Popup Blocker - http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Popup-Ad-Spyware-Blockers/Spyware-Terminator.shtml - this is an excellent free Spyware, Adware, Adware and Popup program that I also use on my home computer.

Windows Defender (Beta 2) - http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx - this is also an excellent free Anti Spyware program that I have used at home.

Google Earth - http://earth.google.com/ this will allow you to visit places around the world via satellite views.  I don't recommend it for use with dial up connections because the speed is too slow.

Zone Alarm Free Firewall Protection - http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp of course Windows XP comes with a free fire wall also, but I prefer to use this one.

THIS SITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION SO LOOK FOR MORE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Here is a work around to a common Microsoft Access error:

Method ‘Columns’ of object ‘IImexGrid’ failed – This apparently has something to do with Access having trouble determining the size of the file you are importing or at least it seems that way.

Here is a work around method –

Open your Excel spread sheet and highlight the cells that have the data you want to import into Access.

Next  click on File, Print Area, Set Print Area or if you have the set print area icon on your toolbar, you can just click on it.

Then save your changes and close your file.

Open Access and try to import your spreadsheet again.

This time you will be given 2 choices.  Choose the bottom radio button “Show Named Ranges” which will let you import only the print area.  Click Next and continue your import as normal.
